AFBE-UK wishes to announce our End of year networking Reception to be held at the Royal Academy of Engineering on 3rd December 2008!

The Event will start with a Drinks reception at 6.30pm followed by dinner at 7.30pm. The reception is organised to celebrate AFBE-UK’s achievement in 2008 and showcase the array of talent within the Black community.


Keynote Speaker: Mr Nelson Ogunshakin
Topic: Skills Shortage in Engineering

The Key note Speaker for the night is the Chief Executive of the Association for Consultancy and Engineering (http://www.acenet.co.uk/).


ACE represents the business interests of the consultancy and engineering industry in the UK. They are the leading business association in this field, counting around 800 firms – large and small, operating across many different disciplines. Member companies of the ACE include Mott MacDonald, WSP Group, White Young Green, Scott Wilson, Jacobs Babtie, FaberMaunsell, Waterman, Grontmij, Pell Frischmann, Buro Happold, Peter Brett Associates, Haswell, Gifford and Hoare Lea etc.
